ACTRESS/ MODEL/ PRODUCER 

 Aija Terauda was born in Riga, Latvia, former Soviet Union. She speaks fluently Latvian, Russian and English languages. Also she learned Italian and Finnish languages while living and working in these countries.
Aija Terauda began her modeling career at the age of 16, which led her to work at IMM in Milan, Italy. After Europe she moved to New York City to study acting at HB and MTB studios. In New York she also obtained Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and International Studies at CCNY. She also studied at Columbia University at School of International and Pablic Affairs.
Aija Terauda landed her first film playing a model in Spiderman 3, working with director Sam Raimi. She appears in Martin Scorsese's TV Show Boardwalk Empire, where she played Deuces Girl. She also worked in Riga, Latvia with Hallmark Productions in TV Film The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler starring Anna Paquin and directed by John Kent Harrison. She stars in new Cinemax TV Show The Knick as Mrs. Krawetz, immigrant from Latvia in 1900.
Her recent work experience and hard work led her to be a part as a producer in new upcoming feature film Airtight directed by Derek Estlin Purvis.
She attributes her health and well being to Yoga, plays tennis and studies Martial Arts.
​ Aija Terauda is also dedicated to helping her home country Latvia by using her education and growing fame to help promote Latvian business and spreading the word about her unique culture. Aija Terauda is working with charity organization at International Academy of Kindness, and also she is involved with Go Blonde charity organization in Riga, Latvia.
